The battery safety and explosion-proof box is primarily used in the new energy vehicle battery industry. During battery production, assembly, testing, and maintenance, if a battery bulges, experiences thermal runaway, or releases heat, the battery is promptly transferred to the safety and explosion-proof box. This effectively controls the potential damage from uncontrolled heating and explosion, protecting property and personnel on-site.
Constructed from 5mm steel plate welded to rectangular tubing, the box offers a sturdy structure. A top-mounted explosion vent and pressure relief valve effectively isolate the battery from external impacts.
High-quality fire-retardant intumescent material is applied to the door gap to seal it in the event of a fire.
Auxiliary door opening and closing devices are installed on both sides of the box, ensuring safe and effortless opening and closing.
The box is equipped with a metal temperature monitoring device for real-time internal temperature monitoring within a range of 0-800°C.
The box is equipped with two 2″ national standard fire-fighting fittings, allowing water to be injected to cool the batteries. When the water level reaches a certain level, the water inlet can be closed or the bottom outlet can be opened for drainage.
The box is equipped with a metal flange-mounted liquid level gauge to effectively monitor the liquid level. The glass tube is made of high borosilicate glass, which offers excellent high-temperature and fire resistance.
The box is equipped with an internal battery rack with adjustable support to accommodate batteries of varying sizes and facilitate lifting and fork removal.
A top explosion vent and pressure relief valve are provided to effectively prevent internal overpressure.
The bottom is equipped with heavy-duty universal wheels, each with a load capacity of 1000 kg, ensuring the box can be transported with high loads.
Position for forks is provided at the bottom for easy forklift transport.
